Comet C/2014 E2 (Jacques)
Comet C/2014 E2 (Jacques) is a bright comet that was visible in 2014, gracing the night sky with a well-defined greenish coma and a faint, extended tail.
I captured this comet during a holiday in Banon, Southern France, using my mobile astrophotography setup under beautifully dark rural skies. Despite the comet’s rapid motion, its distinct coloration and structure made it a fascinating target to image.
Image processing was carried out using Fitswork, Photoshop, and PixInsight.
