Messier 15 (NGC 7078) from my new „Jade“ observatory
My first project with my new observatory was taken with old equipment on the „Planetary Pier“, because my „Deep Sky Pier“ is not yet ready for use. Target was the globular cluster Messier 15 in the constellation Pegasus.
Data calibration and registration was done with Fitswork and the final processing was done with PixInsight. The result was as follows:


With a little imagination you can guess the planetary nebula Pease 1 in M15 (see annotation).
The images were taken with the following equipment:

- Location: Varel
- Telescope: GSO 8″ Newton
- Focal length [mm]: 800
- Focal ratio: 3.9
- Mount: Skywatcher NEQ6 Synscan
- Camera: ZWO ASI 178 MC
- Filter: OSC
- Exposure time [min]: 63 (approx. 500 * 7.5s)
- Resolution: 0.61″/px
In 2010 I took some images from Messier 15 from my backyard.
Data calibration and registration was done with DeepSkyStacker and the final processing was done with PixInsight. The result was as follows:
