Abell 24 (PK 217+14 1) – VdS Remote Hakos
As a member of the VdS remote observatory group, I have the opportunity to use the VdS remote observatory in Hakos, Namibia. You are allowed to process your own data obtained there as well as the data of other users.
In this case I use data from Yves Bastian for the result.
The result shows the planetary nebula Abell 24 located in the constellation Canis minor.
Data calibration and registration and the final processing was done with PixInsight.
In the image you can find 3 asteroids:
13068 1991 RL1 with an apparent magnitude of 18.33 mag.
54010 2000 GU95 with an apparent magnitude of 19.19 mag.
148587 2001 RM6 with an apparent magnitude of 19.09 mag.
In the image you can also find 3 quasars. The most distant of them is:
WISEA J075022.61+025656.3 with a redshift of 2.1 and an apparent magv of 19.74 (SDSS DR17).
