Messier 2 (NGC 7089) – VdS Remote Hakos – 12″
As a member of the VdS remote observatory group, I have the opportunity to use the VdS remote observatory in Hakos, Namibia. You are allowed to process your own data obtained there as well as the data of other users.
In this case I use my own data for the result.
The result shows the globular cluster Messier 2 located in the constellation Aquarius.
Data calibration and registration and the final processing was done with PixInsight. (Please also have a look at my result with the Tak).
In the image you can find very many quasars. The most distant of them is:
SDSS J213519.99-005308.0 with a redshift of 3.382 and an apparent magv of 21.74 (SDSS DR17).
The faintest star in the image has an apparent magv of 22.93 (SDSS DR17).
